Jacob Ohanian is an audio engineer based in Montreal, Quebec. Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, he has been surrounded by classical and jazz music his entire life. As a specialist in such recordings, he is also well versed in the production of popular music in addition to sound designing for film using modular synthesis.

He is also experienced as a performer of classical music, having studied piano formally for over a decade and competed in numerous concerto competitions across New England. His musical ear and knowledge of the keyboard plays an integral role in the musical decisions he makes while recording and mixing.

Live sound is also a tool in his toolbelt, having experience at FOH at the Tanglewood music festival in Lenox, Massachusetts, as well as numerous live music venues in Montreal.
